Nokia 870 Tablet?
Engadget has spy photos of what may be the successor to Nokia’s $350 770 internet tablet. The upcoming Nokia 870 internet tablet is said to feature an integrated webcam, WiFi, an SD slot and 180MB of storage space. The screen is touch sensitive but the user can use the interface buttons for menus.
Like the Nokia 770 Internet Tablet, it features the Linux Internet Tablet OS 2006. Maemo is a developer platform that supports Internet Tablet OS editions.
Gone from the Nokia 870 is the dock but an integrated desk stand is available and it is bundled with a leather case. Also bundled with the Nokia 870 is a headset for VoIP services. No word on pricing or availability.
