COM #127 over at WAP Review RoboHelp Packager for Adobe AIR

Slowly but surely, the work we are doing within the mobile design community is spreading. And we, Little Springs Design, are being quoted by major outlets.

In recent weeks, the Yankee Group published a report, Building the Anywhere Web. It’s a good overview of getting started in mobile, and they saw 500% growth in the mobile web, as measured in number of web sites, in a 6 month span, and that this mirrors growth in the 1996-7 desktop internet.

Forum Nokia’s Getting Started with Mobile Design is full of good getting started information. They use the mantra, “Don’t Shrink, Rethink” rather than our “Mobilize, Don’t Miniaturize” but it definitely gets the point across.

I’ve added the Nokia document, as well as all of the authors of the Nokia document, to the mobile design Squidoo lens, which contains loads of information to help you get started in mobile design. Including companies (like ours) to help you on the way.

Little Springs Designs the user experience for mobile devices and services. Our practice of user-centered design means the user comes first, not the technology. We learn about the user, design for the user, and talk to the user - but we understand the technology and its limitations and potential.
